ABOUT ADAM
Adam is a UK born multi-instrumentalist, composer and musical director, currently musical director for Richard O’Brien’s ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ world tour. Previously, Adam has worked as MD/Associate MD/Cover MD on: ‘Shucked’ (Regent’s Park), ‘School of Rock’ (Gillian Lynne and UK tour) ‘Come Alive’, ‘The Commitments’ (UK tour) and ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ (Peacock and UK tour) as well as Guitar on ‘Jamie’, ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Dear Evan Hansen’.
Adam graduated in 2014 from Royal Holloway, The University of London with a Master’s degree in advanced musical studies, earning distinction and studying composition under Brian Lock (‘The Gambler’, ‘The land Girls’). He then went on to co-found Camden-based trio ‘Pocketclub’ which gained exposure on BBC radio and Sky TV, supporting the likes of Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit and The Kaiser Chiefs on the UK festival circuit.
Adam’s playing then took him on multiple world tours of the ‘Simon & Garfunkel Story’ as Guitar/Keyboards. In the travel time between locations, Adam began his work as a composer; writing the music for the short film From A Distance and writing parts for artist Shao Hao (these tracks have since been streamed over a million times in China & Taiwan) and PM Warson (‘Don’t Hold Me Down’, featured in a 2020 ad campaign for Fred Perry). Recently, Adam composed the music for ‘We Are Home’ - an intimate look at the children and families displaced by the Ukraine war. The film was narrated by Stephen Fry, produced by Kayleigh Paige Rees and won ‘Documentary of the Year’ at the 2025 National Film Awards.
Adam has worked on 5 star and award nominated productions, performed on international television and radio, worked alongside award winning composers (Frank Wildhorn, ‘Wonderland’ UK premiere workshop, Andrew Lloyd Weber, ‘School of Rock’) and performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
